Terrorism is the use of force, fear and/or violence by a person or group to intimidate or coerce societies or governments.  Terrorism often has political or ideological motives. These attacks can take many forms and could happen anytime and in any place.

Today, we face serious terrorist threats.  It’s important to know the various types of threats and how to react should an attack take place.

    The deliberate release of germs or other harmful substances that can cause illness.
  • Chemical Attack: <INSERT LINK TO THREAT PAGE>
    The deliberate release of toxic gases, liquids or solids that can poison people and the environment
  • Explosions: <INSERT LINK TO THREAT PAGE>
    The use of explosions to cause mortal injury or destruction of property.
  • Nuclear Blast: <INSERT LINK TO THREAT PAGE>
    The deliberate detonation of a nuclear device resulting in intense light, heat, radiation and collateral damage

    The spread of harmful radiation through an explosion such as a "dirty bomb.”
