Gladiator Fire Burning North of Crown King; Red Cross Shelter Opened

(Posted May 13, 2012, at 4:55 p.m.) The Gladiator Fire is burning 4 miles north of Crown King, Ariz. A Type-1 Incident Management Team has been ordered.

 

Officials report that the fire is headed east of Crown King.

 

The American Red Cross opened a evacuation shelter at Mayer High School, 17300 E. Mule Deer Drive in Mayer, Ariz., at 4:30 p.m. The number for the shelter is 928-237-6751.
