(Posted on May 15, 2012 at 6:47 p.m.)  Fire officials are reporting they have hose lay completely around the perimeter of the Green fire.  The fire is approximately  1/4 acre and resources remain on scene.

The Green Fire is located 1 mile south of State Road 260 at mile marker 279, near Forest Road 300.  The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
