(Posted June 17, 2012 at 12:55 p.m.) The Garden North Fire is burning on the Sierra Vista Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest in the Huachuca Mountains north of Garden Canyon. It is approximately 2 acres.

Start Date: June 16, 2012

Cause: the fire is believed to be lightning caused

Resources Assigned:

Crews: four (one hot shot crew, three type two hand crews)

Engines: four

Water Tenders: one

Fixed-wing aircraft: one air attack platform, one lead plane, one heavy air tanker

Helicopters: one medium helicopter

Miscellaneous overhead
