Crews are responding to the 12-acre Tank Fire, located approximately 5 miles southeast of Flagstaff, just west of Lower Lake Mary (GPS: 35.105949, -111.609329).
Resources responding include an engine and a dozer. The wildfire is moving at a low to moderate rate of spread, producing noticeable smoke to those in Flagstaff. There are currently no structures threatened or any evacuations planned.
This fire was reported at 1:35 p.m. today by a member of the public driving on Lake Mary Road, and the cause is under investigation.
There are no closures associated with the Tank Fire at this time, but forest visitors are asked to avoid the fire area and remain cognizant of firefighting efforts.
